Like every year, the Toro de la Vega has sparked debate about whether it is ethical or not to continue with a festival that is spear to kill a bull. While supporters of keeping the tradition defended at all costs the festivities , increasingly anti-bullfighting group of animal rights groups and even politicians critical of the event. The bullfighting event began at 11.00 and was at 11.27 when Zamorano, a resident of Tordesillas, speared to 'afflicted', of 608 kilos, and killed the bull. As reported by the mayor of Tordesillas, José Antonio González Poncela Lancer got imposed on the controversial trophy bull launched after death to strike the bull in the area of pine forest in the surroundings of a football pitch. In parallel, the Party Animal (Pacman) and CAS International have organized an event in Madrid p ara protest against the celebration of the Tournament of the Toro de la Vega, after a similar meeting in this town two days ago.
